Glenn O. Hansen passed away on January 24, 2013 in Puyallup at the age of 84. He was born in Puyallup on May 29, 1928 to Oliver and Evva Hansen. Glenn attended school in Elk Plain at the Thrift Grade School while his family lived in Loveland. The family moved to Graham in 1937 and he attended Orting High School. After he graduated, Glenn worked in the shipyards of Tacoma, and after the World War II, he began to work for West Coast Chair. He then worked at Fiberboard in Sumner before finding his career with United Airlines in 1956. Glenn retired in 1991 after 35 years of service at United Airlines. Glenn married Mary Adams, his wife of 62 years in Grandview on August 19, 1950. Glenn is survived by his wife Mary; his son Ron Hansen (Linda); his daughter Rose Hansen; his grandchildren Rhonda Gibler (Andrew), Laren Hansen (Janet), Marcus Hansen, Shaun Hansen and Mallory Hansen; 4 great grandchildren; his siblings Eleanor Leiband, Howard Hansen (Barbara), Muriel Hash-Shaw (Arvid), and Laura Jobe.
