SULPHUR — Thomas “Tommy” Talbot, 64, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, in a New Orleans hospital.
Mr. Talbot was a design draftsman and retired from Meyer & Associates. He was a gifted artist; making leather hats, wallets and purses; and enjoyed woodworking, especially building furniture. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Bonnie Sumpter Talbot; sons, David Dabbs and wife Millie of Sulphur, and Jeffery Talbot and wife Amy of Covington; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Patricia Talbot Broussard of New Orleans; brother, James Randel Talbot and wife Charlena of Tallahassee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lyne Talbot; parents, Randy and Valerie Talbot; and a sister, Deborah Kay Talbot.
To honor Tommy’s wishes, there will be no service.
