Sharon Lynn Sorgee

Sharon worked as an Operator at Westlake Chemical for many years and retired as an Operator from Natgasoline. She enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and spending time in her craft room.

Sharon was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Anna Mae and Ola R Hewitt, paternal grandparents, Alvin and Lena Gaudet, and step-father, Butch Guidry.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Michael Wayne Sorgee; mother, Mary Zoe Guidry; children, Mandy Thibodeaux (Cody) of West Monroe, Louisiana, David Alexander, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana, Lacy Alexander of Starks, Louisiana, Brently Sorgee, Brandon Sorgee, Brook Shiyou; nieces, Lindsey Scott (Jeshurun) and Kadra Gaudet of Sulphur, Louisiana; nephews, Brandon Gaudet and Nick Porche; siblings, Gwen Hare (Steve) of Sulphur, Louisiana, Raymond Gaudet, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Jolene Porche (Tom) of Reserve, Louisiana; along with 8 grandchildren, Chandler Ashworth, Skylar Alexander, Alijah Coleman, Lakien Alexander, Aleigh Coleman, Collin Thibodeaux, Zoey Thibodeaux, and Sutton Shiyou.

A Celebration of Sharon's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Becky's catering, 5121 Lions Road, Carlyss.
