Richard Henry LeDoux Sr.

Richard was a native and lifelong resident of Carlyss. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He met and married the love of his life, Rose Jenkins while stationed in New London, CT. Richard and Rose traveled there way to Southwest Louisiana where they made their home and raised their two children. Richard was a member of Louisiana Local Union 470 Machinists. He worked as a machinist for Citgo and retired after 40 plus years of dedication. Richard enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Although we will miss him dearly, we find comfort knowing he is reunited with his beloved Rose.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two children, Richard Henry LeDoux Jr. (Sheri) of Sulphur, Kathy Schexnider (Don) of Singer; his brother, Bobby LeDoux of China, TX; his grandchildren, Kristan, Dakota, Kayla, and Shelby; his 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Rose Jenkins LeDoux; his parents, Clyde & Esther Kelley LeDoux; his granddaughter, Layken Schexnider; his brother, Melvin LeDoux; his sister, Lois Stewart.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Richard and the love of his life at a later date.
