She was a native of Brownsville, Texas and had been a resident of Sulphur since 1957. She was a member of South Sulphur Church of Christ. Mary Anne enjoyed crafting, crocheting, playing bingo and dominos, watching westerns, and dancing, especially the jitterbug.
Survivors include her children, Charles "Chuck" McGraw, Jr. and wife, Pam of Sulphur, Michael Shannon McGraw of Dallas, Texas, Charlene Vice and husband, Donnie of Sulphur, Susan McGraw Smith and partner, David Terro of DeQuincy, and Donna Johnson and husband, Ronald LeBlanc of Hamshire, Texas; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ross McGraw, Sr.; grandchildren, Bart Shields, Shanna Shields, and Johnie Quebodeaux; and great-granddaughter, Savannah McGraw.
A Celebration of Mary Anne's Life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Hixson's Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the funeral home.
