Marvin Clyde Terrell, 72, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 in his residence.
He was born in Port Arthur, Texas and had been a resident of Vinton for the last two years, coming from Georgia. Marvin was a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 30 years on the police force in Georgia. He was a food enthusiast and also enjoyed hunting, working out at the gym, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ginger Terrell of Vinton; his children, Camille Terrell of Portland, Oregon, Tony Terrell of Harrison, Georgia, and Todd Terrell of Conyers, Georgia; his brother, Michael Terrell of Conyers, Georgia; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Helen Terrell.
