Marlene Ann Vice Doyle, age 61, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 with her family by her side. Marlene was born November 29, 1960 in Sulphur, LA to her parents, Ludren and Lillie Belle Romero Vice.
She was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and was a graduate of Sulphur High School and later obtained her degree in Education from McNeese State University. She was employed by Elton High School and taught special education for many years. Marlene enjoyed crafting, BINGO, spending time at the Sulphur Senior Center. She cherished spending time with her numerous nieces and nephews.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Wayne Vice (Loretta) of Moss Bluff, Gerry Toscino (Ray) of Sulphur, Dennis Vice of Honey Island, TX, Curtis Vice (Rita) of Sulphur, Karen Vice Sandifer (Michol) of Orange, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doyle; her parents; her sister-in-law, Colleen Vice; and her brother-in-law, D.L. Fontenot.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21 from 3-8 pm with a Eulogy at 6 pm and a Rosary at 7 pm in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and will continue on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:45 am in the funeral home.
