Linda was a native of Westlake and had been a longtime resident of Sulphur. She loved to cook and take care of her family. She was a member of Victory Worship Center and also of the Krewe du Grande Bois. She is the retired owner of Hidden Ponds R.V. Park in Sulphur.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Dalton Langford; her son, Joel Edward Langford and wife, Darlene; her daughter, Lisa Joann Langford, all of Sulphur; her sister, Trevelyn Borel and husband, David of Westlake; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Gentry.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Lafleur will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scot LeJeune, Shane Winn, Mark Borel, Darren Poindexter, Logan LeJeune, and Hayden LeJeune. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
