She was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. Linda enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, horseback riding, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Known for her spontaneity, she had a zest for adventure and always had a cure for boredom.
Survivors include her children, Michelle Morgan and spouse, David Reon of DeQuincy, John Morgan and Lester Golden, both of Sulphur, and Mary Golden Meaux and husband, David of Lafayette; and her seven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Sylvia Rhoades; and brother, Isom Rhoades.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 1, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
