Larry Earl O'Quain, age 74, of Sulphur, Louisiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Larry was born on February 16, 1948 in Gueydan, Louisiana.

Larry worked as an auto mechanic until his retirement. He loved to grow flowers and vegetables which he shared with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jarsen and Lula Mae O'Quain, a brother, Michael O'Quain, and two sisters, Tina LeJeune and Mary Aline Thibodeaux.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rita Christine O'Quain; daughter, Tammy Parker and husband, David; daughter, Shelly O'Quain (Teddy); daughter, Brandi Robshaw and husband, Jamie; son, Larry O'Quain and wife, Krista; sisters, Holly Jones, Kay Bergstedt (Tom), and Glenda Roy (Kenneth); brothers, Wendell O'Quain, Gary O'Quain, Matthew O'Quain, Mark O'Quain; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Hixson Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will lead services. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery.
