She was a native of Oakdale and was a longtime resident of Sulphur. She was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church, where she taught the seven year old Sunday School class for over 40 years. Kathryn was very charitable and was considered an "Angel of Mercy for the world" to many. She and her husband, Jack, owned and operated Endicott and Company in Sulphur for many years.
Survivors include her son, Jack Endicott, III and wife, Alba Quinones Endicott of Homewood, Illinios; two grandchildren, John Endicott and Alison Endicott; R.J. Mitte and Lacianne Carrier, whom she considered her great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Lois Baham of Lake Charles; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Endicott, Jr; her sister, Anita Derbonne; and two brothers, Donn Baham and O.W. Baham, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service for Kathryn will be at 9 a.m. Monday, June 18, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until the time of service Monday in the funeral home.
