Jeanne Marie Stanley

Jeanne was a native of Sulphur and attended St Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. She never had a harsh word for anyone, and she had a very big heart. Along with her brother, Tommy, she took care of her mother on a daily basis.

Survivors include her mother, Grace Landry, of Carlyss; daughters Melissa Traxler, of Vinton, and Christy Seaford and her husband Glenn, of Carlyss; siblings, Charlotte LeDoux, of Carlyss, Tommy Landry of Carlyss, O.J. Landry of Florien, and Peggy Skaines, of Winnie, TX; grandchildren Devin Blake Traxler, Christina Ashley Traxler, Dalton Seaford, Skylar Seaford and Grayson Seaford; and great granddaughter Nayomi Blake Traxler. She is preceded in death by her dad, Ophelias Landry.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss.
