He was a Sulphur native and has resided in Westlake for 12 years. Robin was 1980 graduate of Sulphur High and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Before his illness he was a self-employed carpenter. He loved to fish, hunt, and cherished time spent with family. He adored his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Jana Smith Hebert; parents, Dr. James Hebert and Barbara Kelley Hebert; children, Ali Hebert Semple(Scot)of Houston; Zachary Benoit(Devon) of Lake Charles, Kelsey Estes(Mitchell) of Westlake and Daniel "D.J." Martin of Paradis; two sisters, Hope Bowen (Toney) and Kelly Keller(Tommy) all of Sulphur; and six grandchildren, Hayden Benoit, Emmalee Benoit; Abigail Benoit; Kaylee Stutes, Karson Estes and Zoey Estes.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The Pastor John Barach will officiate. Burial will follow at Farquhar Cemetery in Carlyss.
