Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He enjoyed playing music, especially the accordion, harmonica, and guitar, and also enjoyed raising farm animals, fishing, wood working, and spending time with his family. His joy in life was his children and grandchildren. Jimmy retired after many years of service with the City of Sulphur as a Water Plant Operator.
Survivors include his children, Kevin Wayne Caswell, Crystal Gail Duhon and fiance', Tammie Chaumont, Maranda "Mandy" Duhon, and Tina Renee' Ingram, all of Sulphur; nine grandchildren, Jason Wayne McDaniel, Jonathan James Ingram, Ty Lane Arceneaux, Kyle Sean Caswell, Dustin Wade Caswell, Emma Jean Caswell, Blake Andrew Bynum, Kamerin Wayne Jones, and Logan Cade Stanton; and three great-grandchildren, Kai McDaniel, Bentley Arceneaux, and River Bynum. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Duhon; his son, Bryan Keith Fitzhugh; a grandson, Kody Dwayne Fitzhugh; and his siblings, Joseph Cline Duhon, Joseph Jessie Duhon, Jr., Joseph Amos Duhon, Iris Constance, Cyrus Constance, and Melvina Marie Hodgson.
His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. John Welch, M.S. will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Thursday with a Rosary Service at 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home.
