She was a native of Monroe and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 36 years, coming from Winnsboro, Louisiana. She enjoyed various art and crafts, playing bingo, and especially enjoyed gardening. Jackie was extremely proud of her rose garden.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Dana "Bo" Beck of Sulphur; daughter, Angela Smith Whittal of Sulphur; siblings, Charlotte Perry of Garland, Texas, and Dennis Wiggins and wife, Sue of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Linda Sirmons of Highlands, Texas; and two grandchildren, Kayleigh Stark and Joshua Istre.
Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Sirmons, Michael Williams, Joshua Istre, Trevor Perry, Dillon Wiggins, and Dennis Wiggins, Jr. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss.
