She was a native of Berlin, New Jersey and had been a resident of Sulphur since the early 1970's, coming from California. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur where she had taught Children's Sunday School, worked in the church nursery, sang with the Senior Choir "The Agin' Cajuns", and served on the counting committee. Helen enjoyed crafting, knitting, needlepoint, and quilting, and also enjoyed playing "Hand And Foot" card game.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Donald Duberville and wife, Jeffrie of Carlyss; and grandchildren, Matthew Duberville and Kathrynn Duberville Johnston, both of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nathaniel Vincent; her daughter, Donna Louise Vincent Duberville; and four brothers.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Linton will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from noon until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
