A lifelong resident of Sulphur, Trudie was a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha, American Legion Auxiliary Post # 172 and Les LeBon Amis Camping Club as well as serving as a past volunteer for abused children.
She is survived by her children Linda Welsh, Keith Welsh and wife Jackie and Kenneth D. Welsh and wife Nelewyn; grandchildren William Brent Slusher, Lindsey Bray-Gregory, Dustin Bray and Heather Welsh-Griffin and great grandchildren William Joseph Slusher and Liam Gregory.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wm. Max Welsh.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Mann will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 until 8 pm on Tuesday and 9 am on Wednesday.
