She was a native of Robeline, Louisiana and had lived in Sulphur for over 60 years. She had been a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur and was currently attending Victory Worship Center. Fay was an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters for 30 years where she was matched with her little sister, Shelli Broussard. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, playing cards and dominos, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Jeff Robinson of Sulphur; and special friends that were more like her daughters, Shelli Broussard and Sondra Miller, both of Sulphur, along with their families, and several others that she has mentored over the years. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Robinson, Jr; her infant daughter, Georgina Fay Robinson; and her siblings, James Vernon Jordan, Juanita Chamberlain, and Wanda Hoffpauir.
A Celebration of Fay's life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Hixson's Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux and Pastor Larry LaFleur. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
