David was a native of Bell City and had lived in Carlyss for over thirty-eight years. He was known as "Preacherman" to everyone on the road, and he was known as "Spoon" to his classmates in school. David was a loving husband, brother, Godfather, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, Eugenia Gail Duhon of Sulphur; four brothers, Gerald Duhon(Beverly) of Aransas Pass, TX, John Duhon of Bell City, Douglas Duhon of Lake Charles, and Bradley Duhon of Bell City; a sister, Veda Theriot of Bell City; numerous nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and three loving dogs, and one cat.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clasma and Lorena Duhon, brother-in-law, James Theriot, a sister-in-law, Debbie Duhon, father-in-law, Noel LeDoux, and mother-in-law, Bernice LeDoux Seamons and husband, Hiram.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Chapel. Reverend Arvin Harrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur.
