He was a native and lifelong resident of the Sulphur-Carlyss area. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Bass Master fishing club. Danny was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at Toledo Bend, and playing in online poker tournaments. He also enjoyed drinking coffee, Schlitz beer, and going to Walmart with his best friend, Cecil White, and also going to The Big Bass Splash Tournament every year with his son, Raymond in Sam Rayburn, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Helen LeDoux of Carlyss; his children, Danny (Becky) of Sulphur, Raymond (Misty) of Breckenridge, Texas, Corey of Carlyss, Sandra (Marco) of Carlyss, Gaylynn of Oregon, DeeDee (James) of Sulphur, and Jammie (Ben) of Sulphur; his sisters, Peggy Mays of Toledo Bend, and Brenda Domingue of Sulphur; his best friend who was like a brother, Cecil White; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leno and Mary LeDoux; his brother, J.E. LeDoux; two nephews, James Lee and David; and a granddaughter, Amber.
A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, led by Hixson's Celebrant, Jody Tyler.
