He was a native and longtime resident of Sulphur before moving to Bonham, Texas two years ago. Daniel was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Iraqi War. He was an avid gamer and enjoyed playing Xbox with his boys. He loved his family and often supported his kids in sporting events and other activities. Daniel had the biggest heart in the world and it showed in every way through his acts of love.
Survivors include his wife, Alaina Clemons of Bonham, Texas; his mother, Susan Clemons of Coldwater, Mississippi; his son, Blake Clemons; and his step-children, Caden Miller and Audrey Miller; his siblings, Hollie Moore of Coldwater, Mississippi, Samantha Clemons of Bonham, Texas, and Ronnie Clemons of Moss Bluff; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg and Tami Dupree of Bonham, Texas; his Nana, Sandra Cowart of Bonham, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Ethan Clemons, Aubree Moore, and Lylah Kate; and his beloved dogs, English bulldog "Piper" and French bulldog "Leonardo". He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Clemons.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Clemons, George Garlington, Mark Garlington, Johnny Clemons, Greg Dupree, Shane Moore, Caden Miller, and Blake Clemons. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur.
