Carrie lived in Sulphur since 2004, coming from Jacksonville, North Carolina. She loved gardening, karaoke, playing the piano, writing and singing. She was a published author.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Hilbert Jones; children, Hope Antoniadis and her husband George, of Jacksonville, Florida, Abby Williams and her husband David, of Thomasville, North Carolina, Joy Devillier and her husband Erin, of Sulphur, Reggie Maready and his wife Gloria, of Mount Airy, Maryland, Mark Maready and his wife Dianna, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Daris Warsham of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Tish Worsham of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; brother Billy Pickett and his wife Anita, of Beulaville, North Carolina; sister Nell Rogers and her husband John, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Abb and Hazel Pickett; and her daughter Carrie Theunissen.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home
