He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and was known as "Fitz, the Mayor of Pochie Town". Bryan was a jack-of-all-trades and never met a stranger. He enjoyed his beer, music, and riding his bike.
Survivors include his father, James "Jimmy" Duhon of Sulphur; his siblings, Tina Fitzhugh Ingram, Kevin Caswell, Crystal Duhon and partner, Tammie Chaumont, and Mandy Duhon, all of Sulphur; his uncle/brother, Felix "BB" McLean and wife, Pamela of Dequincy; eight nephews; one niece; and two great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Jean Lanthier Duhon; his son, Kody Dwayne Fitzhugh; paternal grandparents, Zelma Mae Duhon and Jesse Duhon; and his maternal grandparents, Marie McLean Young, Euclide Mac McLean, and Ivan Lanthier.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Conley will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Caswell, Dustin Caswell, BB McLean, Tasha Lyles, Malcolm Duhon, and Jerry Anderson. Honorary pallbearer Mike Lyles. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Monday with a rosary service at 6 p.m. and will resume from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the funeral home. His dad and siblings would like to give special thanks to his cousin, Tasha Lyles for always lending a helping hand and being a huge part of his life.
