Arelia "Elaine" Broussard, age 89, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at a local hospital. Elaine was born on March 25, 1932 in Elton, LA.

Elaine was a longtime member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Elaine was a homemaker and a great cook who enjoyed sewing in her younger years.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Diana McNabb and husband, Bill who Elaine loved like a son; daughter, Melissa Broussard; six grandchildren, Jeffery McNabb, Teri McNabb, Ashley Tisdel, Andrea Garner, Robert Francois, and Christopher Francois; seven great-grandchildren, Kaigen McNabb, Seth Tisdel, Jaxon Tisdel, Timothy "T.J." McNabb, Andrew "Andy" McNabb, Avery McNabb, and Elijah Michael Rogers; two sisters, Betty Ann Richard and Ramona Daigle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Deacon Patrick LaPoint will officiate. Burial will follow under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. Pallbearers will be Bill McNabb, Jeff McNabb, Chris Francois, Kaigen McNabb, Seth Tisdel, and Daniel Roach.

Elaine was preceded in death by her two sons, Marvin Ray Francois and Anthony "Dean" Francois, daughter, Sylvia Ann Carpenter, a grandson, Timothy McNabb, her parents, Frank and Leona Miller, two brothers, Raymond Miller and Samuel Miller, and a sister, Brenda Chiasson.
