She was a native of Lake Charles and was a longtime resident of Sulphur. Angela enjoyed working around the house, playing office, singing, and dancing, and was involved in Special Olympics.
Survivors include her mother, Stella Bellard of Sulphur; and her siblings, Retta Delano of LaPorte, Texas, Becky Gonzalez of Lafayette, John Bellard of Lake Charles, Vernon Bellard of Lake Charles, Cindy Bellard of Sulphur, Chris Johnson of Moss Bluff, and Roy Bellard of Hitchcock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Joseph Bellard.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau and Deacon Bud Wagner officiated. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Thursday with a scripture service at 6 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
