Allen Gene Bullard

Gene was a native of Hamilton, Tx., and lived in Sulphur for 58 years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Sulphur, where he was a past deacon. He had a BS degree from Louisiana College and was retired from Vista.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Louise Bullard; children, Mark Allan Bullard of Sulphur, Jennifer Leah Bellon and her husband, Randy, of Moss Bluff, and Gary Duane Bullard and his wife Lori, of Sulphur; siblings, Doris Connor, Clayton Bullard and May Aymond; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Alton Bullard, Marion Bullard and Harry Bullard, and one grandson.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 28, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. David Holder will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, all in the funeral home
