Vincent Charles Lucario, age 70, of Meadows Place, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.Vincent a Houston Native and was devoted to his family, Mary Ann, his wife of 32 years were married on September 4, 1992 his two sons, Vincent Jr, and Jacob , and his grandson, Eli. Vincent loved his dogs and all animals, he loved old cars, including trucks and he loved to fish. He was able to talk with people of all ages, no matter if very young as a baby or elderly in their 90's.Vincent was the beloved son of the late Morris Joseph and Mary Louise Lucario.
Vincent began his law enforcement career at Precinct 4, where he was known for his honor,integrity,and genuine concern for others.He consistently went above and beyond in his duties.
However, his true passion was found at Precinct 5, where he joined the canine division and partnered with his beloved dog Dasher. This was the pinnacle of his career, as he deeply cherished his bond with Dasher and helping others.
After retiring Vincent continued to stay active in the field by building, managing and owning Fort Bend Security Patrol. He led with compassion and kindness, instilling in his officers the importance of a strong work ethic and the principle that their word is their bond. He had a personal touch with everyone he encountered, always ready to protect and support his family and others. He continued to assist other security companies with his knowledge and experience even after he had sold his company. He continued to be available often to assist with advice and guidance as needed. As well he kept in touch with his former employees and helping them if needed.
Vincent was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, he attended Sam Houston High School.
Vincent was the brother to Marie Ridgeway and Michelle Brown
A visitation for Vincent will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A recital of the rosary will occur Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Deacon Anthony Olsovsky will preside. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd, Houston, TX 77072. Father Luke Manuel Celebrant A committal service will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 3502 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ethan Burns, all of the close family members and friends, Constable Precinct 5 and the Patriot Guard Riders.
