After 85 years of faithful service to Jesus Christ, Stephen Joseph Parisi finished the good fight and was called Home. No longer bound by the limits of human understanding, Steve is experiencing, and will experience, the unfathomable love of God for all of eternity. Consoled by this truth are those whom Steve leaves behind on this earth: his wife of 63 years, Rosemary; his sister Isabelle and her husband John Rinando; sister-in-law Jan and her husband John Sellers; brother-in-law Sam and his wife Juanita Rizzo; his five children: Joseph and his wife Becky, Cosmo and his wife Reneé, Stevie and his wife Terry, Jim and his wife Tami, Stephanie and her husband Bill. Grandchildren include Angela, Adrea, Bradley, Will, Nicko, Vincent, Billy, Jenny, Andrew, Phillip, Bella, and Mia. Great-grandchildren include Alissa, Jeffrey, Ryan, and Valentina. Nephews include Jamie and John, Sam, Dan, David, Elizabeth, Chris and Paul. Steve joins his parents, Joseph and Lucille, in eternal life. Steve was a lifelong Houstonian and graduated from St. Thomas High School and the University of St. Thomas. Steve was a teacher, a businessman of uncompromising integrity, a founding member of St. Laurence Catholic Church, a loyal husband, loving father, and incredible grandfather, but most importantly, a steadfast servant to Jesus Christ. Written words in this short form cannot do justice to the life of Steve Parisi, so we invite you to celebrate this great man’s journey to God by joining us Sunday for a Visitation from 4 - 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6 p.m. at Settegast-Kopf @ Sugar Creek. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Sugar Land. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. “You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”
