Peter was my little brother in the fraternity (pi kappa alpha - southwestern university).  This was back in 1992 time frame.  He was also my room mate and a great friend.  Full of laughter and life. Peter truly had the spark.  True Charisma. The type of man; you never forget.  We had some fantastic times and conversation.  I miss you Pete.

I only found out in Nov 22 of Pete passing.  Pete and I worked together in London and Germany.  He was full of life and on a trip to New York from London , we visited my aunt and uncle in Montclair New Jersey.  Suffice to say my aunt loved him and Pete showed me around New York, which was  highly memorable.   Sadly we lost touch, me being back in Scotland.  He was a unique, great person and I am saddened as I write this having just found out. Love to his family and partner. Rest in peace Pete 

I am so incredibly sad with news of Peter passing.  In credible guy and colleague.  I can not believe how death fell upon him at such young and promising age. 

On KIPIC project in 2016 Peter and I I travelled to UAE, China, Thailand selecting a fabyard.   Three weeks ago looking him up for a proposal in UAE, I was shocked  and immensely saddened when I found out such super good  person and a friend had passed away and so young.  RIP good friend.

Peter was a wonderful friend to me. We met through choir at CyCreek High School. We endured the all-state process together all the way through state auditions. Peter was an incredibly talented human! I can’t think of anyone better to have by my side during such stressful, yet memorable times of high school. We always laughed! Pete had that effect on people… he could help anyone find the humor in any situation! Especially about “Matress”- a term of endearment for our choir teacher… I don’t know what I would have done without his humor during our senior year! I am sooo saddened by the news of his passing. Stunned, actually. Gone way too soon. Prayers for all who loved him- I know he will be so missed. 

Please accept my deepest condolences as I just read of Peter’s passing in the Southwestern Magazine.  I attended Cy-Creek High School and did theater alongside him and he was always such fun.  We went to Southwestern University together too and had many a late night talk at Whataburger or the Pike house.   We lifeguarded together at Steeplechase pool for a couple of years and he was a big brother type for me, taking me under his wing as I was a year behind him in school and in life. Peter’s name jumped off the page when I saw it in the recent SU Magazine. Such a heartbreaking loss. He was a terrific student and friend.  We were in Speech Class together. Although I hadn’t seen Peter in years, I remember clearly his vibrancy and kindness. Sincerest condolences to those who are mourning him.

Crushed and incredulous. Pete, you always said we'd get old together and stay friends all the way. Bottom-line trust and rare friendship, best travel and general adventure buddy. 🖤 Herr Hassinger.

Peter was my diving teammate in high school.  I lovingly called him “carrot top” for his red hair that was wildly chlorine damaged.  Pete always made practices fun with his jovial spirit.  I always looked forward to practices with him.  His light was bright and he was one of a kind.  My most sincere condolences to the family for this most unimaginable loss.
