Mohamad Mola Momanaee Chatrodi passed away on March 8, 2015, surrounded by his family. Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife Karen Taylor Momanaee, son Darian Momanaee, daughter Audrey Momanaee, son-in-law Jeff Levett, and grandchildren Jefferson and Norah Levett. Also bereaved are his siblings Abbas, Mahin, Shahin, and Reza Momanaee, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Hossein and Sekineh, and brother, Ali.
Mohamad was born in Kerman, Iran, in 1951 and spent the majority of his childhood in Tehran, Iran. He served as a pilot in the Imperial Iranian Air Force and Navy from 1969-1979, then moved to the United States to marry his beloved Karen. He had a long career working in the airline industry, and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
A celebration of Mohamad’s life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 2:30pm at Settegast-Kopf in Sugar Land, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mohamad’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 3664 Walnut Bend Lane, Building B, Houston, Texas, 77042.
