Michele S. Krock

Michele Sloan Krock was born on February 18, 1956, in Charleston, South Carolina, to parents Irene and Hill Sloan. Michele was a strong, compassionate woman with a ferocious spirit. She lived all over the country with her retired Navy husband, Mike, and children, Brad and Sarah, spending many years in Brandon, Mississippi, and eventually settling down with Mike in Richmond, Texas.

Throughout her life she volunteered with numerous charitable organizations, particularly the American Cancer Society. Michele served various positions in over a dozen Relay for Life events across the country, and she imparted her passion to serve to her family and friends. Michele loved cooking, fishing, and dancing, and she was an avid Mississippi State University fan.

Michele passed away peacefully on July 27, 2015, at the age of 59 after fighting metastatic cancer and other health issues for over 17 years.

A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX, on August 4, 2015, at 2:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Ceremony the following Sunday, August 9, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the Lakehouse in the Del Webb community in Richmond, TX.
