Layne Bryant

Layne was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Kathy, for over 50 years. He was a supportive and nurturing father to his children, Mandi and Brandon, and took great pride in their accomplishments.

A master plumber for decades, Layne was well-respected in the industry by his peers, colleagues, and loyal customers.

In his free time, Layne loved playing the guitar, writing songs, and watching sports. When he wasn’t in Sugar Land, he could be found with Kathy on Mustang Island at their “happy place”—the beach house they built together.

Layne will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will be forever loved and cherished in the hearts of his friends and family.

A homecoming/celebration of life visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478.
