JUANITA BELLE HART SNYDER was born October 21, 1916, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Under the guidance of Christian parents, she became a child of God at an early age. Juanita graduated from Stafford High School, which is near Clinton, and attended Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Oklahoma. While working at a Five and Ten Cent store, she met Robert B. Snyder, and they were married for forty-five years until his death in 1985. During their life together they lived in numerous places – Tulsa, OK, Baton Rouge, LA, Wichita Falls, Kansas, Houston, and Dallas. She relocated from Dallas back to Houston in 2000, and went to her final destination – Heaven, June 13, 2013.
What a joyful and loving life she lived. She loved life and being with people and having fun. There wasn’t a child she didn’t take time to talk to, hug and blow kisses to.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Snyder; parents, Eliphas Hix Hart and Mary Elizabeth Owens Hart; and two brothers, Alvin and Wilbur Hart. She is survived by her two children, son, Larry A. Snyder and his wife Sharon; and daughter, Lynn Foust; two grandsons, Jeb Snyder and his wife Melissa, and Darin Foust and his wife Stacey; one granddaughter, Amanda Jewell and her husband Kyle; three great-grandchildren, Ava and Brody Snyder, and Levi Jewell; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2013, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2013, at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 13333 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 24, 2013, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8801 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
