Jodi's life was about her love for her family, friends, her cats, work and tennis. She enjoyed her time playing on the high school tennis team at Clements High School. From there she went on to play tennis for Stephen F. Austin State University as a Lady jack, where she made so many friends.
Upon her graduation she began her marketing career at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston. She then became the marketing director at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.
Jodi wanted to return to her family and friends in Houston and began a new job with an energy drink company.
Needing a change in careers, Jodi became office manager for an immigration law firm. Jodi served on the board of The Houston Tennis Association., spearheading the "Adopt a Unit" "drive to send care packages to the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Jodi had a special love for animals, especially Bella and Ecco, her two cats, also known as her "fur babies". She continued to be an avid tennis player and Astros fan (after many tough years) she was enjoying this season. Above anything she was a friend to all. She will be sorely missed.
