Jerry August Shields

“Jerry” August Shields passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, September 28th in his home of Missouri City, Texas at the age of 64. He was born on December 23, 1953 in Germany and adopted by Buss and Betty Jean Bobo of Moorefield, West Virginia. Jerry is survived by his wife Sherri and daughter Kathleen J. Shields and husband Bert, his mother-in-law DeAnn Piter, Sister-in-Law, Beth and husband Chuck Eckert and sister-in-Law Krista Wade all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jerry also has many nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly! He always seemed to make sure he showed them fun activities!

Jerry loved a deal. He thoroughly enjoyed going to garage sales, and, should you happen to see the inside of his garage, then you would understand. He also loved shopping pawn shops and gun shows. He attended hundreds of concerts throughout his life and was fond of playing the guitar. His favorite holiday was Halloween. He would make sure he took his wife, Sherri, on special vacations; the memories will forever be with her of the special times they shared. He was greeted in heaven by his loving dog Hamlett who was ready to go for a walk and introduce him to the neighborhood.
