Jake was born February 25, 1981 in West Allis, Wisconsin to his father, Bernard Rappel and mother, Beth Rappel.
Jake graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker College in 2018 before obtaining his Master in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2022. Jake worked for Comcast for 20 years. Jake began working with Comcast in 2004 as a Network Technician. In 2018, Jake was promoted to his current position as a Network Supervisor.
Jake had many interests and hobbies, but was an avid dog lover. He also was a very proud Eagle Scout as well a true Houston Astros Fan. Jake also enjoyed spending his time playing video games.
He is survived by his mother and father, Beth and Bernard Rappel; his brothers, Chris Rappel (Liz), Russell Rappel and Greg Kort (Jackie); his nephews Jared Rappel Schmid, Nicholas Kort and Max Kort.
A visitation for Jake will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
