Debora Anderson Darby

Debora Anderson Hutchins Darby was born in Houston, Texas to Selwyn Percival Rice Hutchins M.D. and Elizabeth Painter Hutchins, on the 6th of May 1953. She went to be with the Lord on the 12th of November, 2022, at the age of 69.

She graduated from Lamar High School and went to Stephen F. Austin State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics.

Debora loved jigsaw puzzles, scrapbooking, card games, camping, talking with loved ones and her church.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard A. Darby, daughter Mary and husband Matthew G. Mills, sister Libby Cunningham and husband Jack, brother Bill Hutchins and wife Diane, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

A memorial service for Debora will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478, followed by a reception from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
