Daniel A. Almeida, a beloved son to parents Paul Anthony Almeida and Anne Grabb Almeida, was born on October 21, 1987 in Huntington, West Virginia.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Outside of his studies, Daniel found joy in building computers and had a passion for music. His pursuits in graphic design, computer building, and music reflected his creative spirit and brought him fulfillment in various aspects of his life.
Daniel A. Almeida, departed this world on April 11, 2024, at the age of 36, in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Anne Almeida; Sister, Katie Pollock and spouse Tom; Brother, John Almeida and spouse Laura; nieces and nephews, Hailey, Bowen and Laney; As well as a host of friends and relatives who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
Daniel will always be remembered for his quick wit, quiet demeanor, and calm presence. He was known to sit back with a beer or whiskey and listen, and when he spoke, each word had meaning and power. Daniel’s creative and imaginative expression inspired all those who knew him, and his spirit will always be remembered in the many ways his life continues to inspire us.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Daniel’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
A a celebration of life for Daniel Almeida will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Houston Marriott Sugar Land, 16090 City Walk, Sugar Land, Texas 77479.
