Bryce Lee Goddard, 21, of Sugar Land, died Tuesday October 20, 2020 as a result of gunshots to the chest and torso in a mid-town night club where he was a performing rapper known as Foe Wop. He was born July 2,1999 in West Virginia, the son of Brian and Justina Goddard. He attended schools in West Virginia, the Congo and Texas before graduating from George Ranch High School in 2018.
Bryce had been working several jobs that included working in a warehouse, a server at Applebee’s, breeding dogs, tattoo artist/piercings, selling t-shirts and a personal trainer. When he wasn’t working; he was chasing his dream as an aspiring rapper in Houston in hopes of one day becoming an entrepreneur.
Bryce is survived by his parents Brian and Justina of Sugar Land; his sister Sandra of Houston and nieces Prisca and Vanessa. He leaves his maternal grandmother, Rose Ukarin of Port Harcourt, Nigeria; and his paternal grandparents, Roger and Kay Goddard of Vienna, West Virginia. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Aa’laiyah Dade of Katy and numerous friends, extended family members, brothers, cousins and acquaintances spread throughout the world.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at The Settegast – Kopf Co @ Sugar Creek Funeral Directors 15015 Southwest Freeway Sugar Land TX 77478 followed by a Reception from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. to celebrate his life and the love that he brought to his family, friends and acquaintances. His time with us was short, but it was packed with lifetimes of memories for those who loved him as he always loved everybody more. Arrangements are being handled by The Settegast – Kopf Co @ Sugar Creek Funeral Directors.
