Audrey Radichel Cannon

Audrey Radichel Cannon, 90, of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on January 16, 2017. She was born on June 26, 1926 and grew up in Mankato, Minnesota with her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Audrey went to college at the University of Colorado where she met her husband, Bill Cannon. They married in Denver where they had their first son, Brian. In 1950 they moved to Houston and lived in the Bellaire area before moving to Spring Branch where their second son, Craig, and third son, Brent, were born. Audrey taught piano for many years and became active in local civic and political interests. In 1974, Audrey and Bill moved to Quail Valley. She became very active in the Fort Bend Republican Party and worked on Ron Paul’s early campaigns. She also served on the Texas Republican Executive Committee. Her husband passed away in 1996. Audrey continued to be active in the Quail Valley Ladies Golf Association and local and state politics. She has two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Audrey enjoyed card and board games, music and was a big fan of Mexican food. She will greatly be missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church- Missouri City located at 3900 Lexington Blvd, Missouri City, TX 77459.
