My Love – My Hero
Our marriage was filled with love. It was a love story here on earth, from the first day to the last, 42 years, 6 months and 16 days. We were blessed and enjoyed many celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays and every day we lived. We were really blessed.
He told me, it was love at first sight when we met – (He saw me dancing), but, as for me, to fall in love at first sight? Well, here’s about the handsomest buy ever before me. Gosh, I felt I didn’t stand a chance, I felt I was “out of his league.”
I loved his voice, his beautiful Latin lover Spanish. It took me a while before I realized that his love was real.
I never gave any thought to the way I danced – but that’s what got him hooked – my dancing. “Hook, line and sinker,” he always said. He really loved our dancing together and so did I. We were Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and he thought I was also, “smart.” (Smile)
When we first got married we struggled. We lived pay-day to pay-day. You’d never believe that now. We were a “team.” If we didn’t agree on something, we knew it was not right. Because we learned that when we agreed –it always turned out great!
“My” husband made our marriage very special. He always wanted me to be near him, with him, telling me how much he loved me - . “What a lucky guy,” he was, he’d say. “No quiero que te me acabes,” and I’d tell him, “I don’t want you to acabarte either.”
I miss my husband tremendously; He’s in my heart forever.
¡El si se me acabo muy pronto!
