Szabados, Theresa B. of Airmont died October 22, 2013 at age 79 Born in NYC to Lorenzo and Inez (Castro) Barrera. She worked her way through school, graduating from Lehman College and earning her Master’s Degree from SUNY, all while raising her son. Her first occupation was an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor. She later worked as a Research Chemist / Department Director for Clairol and a Senior Scientist at Beecham Cosmetics. Theresa retired as a Teacher with the NYC Publics Schools. She enjoyed dancing and water sports, especially wind surfing. Survived by her husband Zoltan, son Russell Szabados (Alexis Raynoor) and brother Jim Barrera (Nilda). Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 Suffern. Funeral Mass Monday 12noon at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern followed by an interment at FW Loescher Veterans Cemetery.
