I've only just learned of Rick's passing. I worked with him and his son on the estate of Andre Watts and Nancy Britz back in the late 1980s. He was a good man and did some incredible work building Andre and Nancy's new home with his team. Saddens me that all three are now gone. My condolences to Rick's family.

This is Joan Kocher Troy, I am Rick's cousin. I just found out about his death back in August and was sent his obituary page and tribute by cousin Joyce Wallace Kruse.
Not sure if this will be seen by any of Rick's family but please know I am so sorry and send my condolences and love to his entire family. 
I am living in New Mexico now and far away from where I grew up but remember the big red house on Haverstraw Rd and babysitting  the children before I went off to nursing school. 
My cousin Joyce and I were fortunate to reunite with Rick and Barbara several years ago when I went back east for a visit to Joyce's in Baltimore. We drove up to Suffern and were treated so warmly by both of them and went for dinner in Tallman.

Barbara my prayers are with you and your family.  May Rick rest in peace.  My husband George and Rick were great friends and worked very hard for the community as Commissioner of Tallman Fire District.  He was also, an Associate Member of the Tallman Fire Department for 63 years.

I just learned of Rick's passing this morning.  My heart goes out to you and your family.  I still have fond memories of our visit and all you did for us.  It was one of the best times.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  God bless you.  Love Always-Syl

I remember your Dad always working at the Keating house.
He had infinite patience with us (kids) hanging around watching him create/craft wonderful rooms.  Always with the pencil on his ear, listening to our Dad make another change. One memory was when he was working with my Mom on the master bedroom. Our Dad wanted Mom to help save money. He had Mom put wooden plugs in the floor.
Mom was pregnant with Tom and went into early labor. Your Dad helped Mom to hospital. Never left her until Dad showed up.  He will be missed and was cherished by all.  Thoughts and prayers with you all at your loss.
