Raymond Sullivan of Stony Point, NY, age 76, died after a long illness with emphysema. Ray was born May 13, 1938 to the late Richard and Henrietta (Naegely) Sullivan, pre-deceased by brothers Richard, Jr., Thomas and sister, Katherine. Survived by sons Scott and Gregg of Bardonia and NYC, their wives, Eileen and Isabel, grandchildren James, Andrew, Julia, Stephany, sister, Joan Ann of Florida, longtime friend Linda and ex-wife Angela.
Ray proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Settling in Suffern in 1968, Ray taught CCD at Sacred Heart Church, and was a Eucharistic Minister there as well. Ray also volunteered to be Cub Master of Pack 23 and coach of the Braves Little League team in Suffern.
Friends may call at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 117 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Sunday, June 8 from 2PM to 6PM. Funeral services are to be held at Sacred Heart Church, 129 Lafayette Avenue 10901 on Monday, June 9 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at a later date.
