Maureen was born in Worcester Massachusetts to Ralph and Maryann Maynard on August 16, 1946. She graduated from Worcester High School of Commerce and earned her nursing degree at Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in 1967. Maureen worked as a registered nurse for 50 years in various capacities, retiring last year from Garden State Urology in Morristown.
Maureen is preceded in death by her son, whom she called her “gentle giant”, Nathan Taylor, her parents Ralph and Maryann Maynard, and her beloved brother-in-law, retired Deputy Chief Paul F. Campbell.
Maureen is survived by her daughter, Julie Taylor McDonald; her siblings Beverly Campbell, Edward Maynard and his wife Jean; her granddaughter and the light of her life Keira Maureen McDonald; nieces, nephews, and extended family, and many cherished friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. Her funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Church of the Presentation, 271 W. Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY.

The family of Maureen Taylor wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Papish, Dr. Rosen, Dr. Rappaport, Rimple Mody, APN, Patricia Molinelli, APN, AOCNS, the nurses and staff of Chilton Hospital, Morristown Medical Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center and JDT Rehabilitation Center for the care, compassion and comfort they gave to Maureen during a difficult time.
