Maude Germain

Maude Germain was born in Mirbalais Haiti on February 12,1948. She grew up in Haiti, graduated in secretarial administration and held many roles including secretary at the justice department of Haiti and travel agent. She relocated to United States in 1978, where she resided in New York for 44 years and worked as a healthcare professional at Dominican Convent of Sparkil. She married Joseph Germain in 1979 and has been married for over 40 years. She has three beautiful children Jephthe, Wilkingson and Sephora. She was faithful member of Nyack Church of God for over forty years and served in the women’s ministry and church choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and missionary work. Maude went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2024 peacefully. She is survived by her husband, three children, grandson, two sisters, brother and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Maude will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901. A final viewing will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at French Speaking Baptist Church of Spring Valley, 80 N Madison Ave., Spring Valley, New York 10977. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at French Speaking Baptist Church of Spring Valley, 80 N Madison Ave., Spring Valley, New York 10977. A burial service will follow Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd., New Hempstead, NY 10977.
