Mary Clara (Oropallo) Occhipinti of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, she was 97. Born in Hackensack, NJ to Anthony and Angelina Oropallo. Mary later married her lifelong love Anthony Occhipinti.
She is survived by her husband; Anthony Occhipinti, daughters; Angela Occhipinti and Sandra Mackey, son; Anthony J. Occhipinti, grandchildren; Donna Conway, Michael DeRosa, Camielle DeRosa, Anthony DeRosa, Christopher Morro, Laurie Occhipinti, Danielle Nadkarni, Lisa Foglia, Brian Mackey, Erin Senne and great-grandchildren; Jennie Conway, Maya DeRosa and Braxton Foglia. Mary was predeceased by her daughter; Jean DeRosa who passed away on April 9, 1992.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at Ascension Cemetery Chapel, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10am with the entombment to follow.
