Marjorie Rodgers, 78 of Stony Point, New York passed away on September 7, 2022. She was born in Suffern, New York on February 13, 1944. Margie, as she preferred to be called was the 5th child (of seven) of Mario Orlandi and Helen Micklos. She lived in Spring Valley for many years until relocating to Perry, Florida. There, she worked for more than thirty years at Martin Electronics until she retired and moved back to New York to be closer to her children, grandson, sister and brother.
Margie had a passion for reading, watching her favorite shows and spending time with family and friends. She loved to talk on the phone and catch up with everyone. She was very personable and made friends anywhere she went. Margie bravely battled many health issues that she fought with strength and a sense of humor. She loved to laugh. She is predeceased by her husband, Roy Rodgers, sister, Anne Toth, brothers, John Micklos, Mario Orlandi and Stephen Orlandi. Margie is survived by her daughter, Charlene Santilli (Jim), sons, Charles and John Phillips and step-daughter, June Marie Phillips, her grandchildren, Andrew Santilli and Lincoln Phillips, brother, Joseph Orlandi (Noreen), sister, Janet Fleming (Gerald), and nieces and nephews.
Margie was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be forever in our hearts. It was a gift to know her!
There will be a private ceremony on Monday, September, 12, 2022.
