Jackson G. DiDona was born on January 13, 2014 in White Plains, New York and passed away on September 6, 2019 in Valhalla, New York. Jackson is survived by his parents, Gregory and Lori, and brother, Joseph.
Jack was a vibrant 5 year old who laughed from deep in his belly. He love t-ball and flag football. He enjoyed watching Batbad, FGTeeV, and Zach Choi videos and playing Ghostbusters and Plants vs. Zombies on the PS4. Police and firefighters, Spiderman, Legos, Minecraft, Kinetic Sand, blocks, cars, Playdoh, and Fortnite were some of his favorites. He loved mischief and found it often. His uncle Rob was one of his favorite targets for a sneak attack.
Joey wishes to share some of his favorite memories of Jackson. That one time when…
• they pranked Daddy by putting sour powder in his drink
• they snuck and devoured an entire box of Entenmann’s donuts
• they stunk up their bedroom by spraying most of Mommy’s Cherry Blossom perfume
• they played hours and hours of Roblox
• Jack slobbered all over the karaoke machine microphone because he was singing his heart out
• Joey’s tooth fell out and Jack devised a plan to put it back
Jackson will be missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him— and, as we’ve learned, by those who were inspired by his bravery and strength.
