I am a member of the Cashmere High School Class of 1971.  I remember Greg very well.  He always had a ready smile and great sense of humor.  I was a wrestling cheerleader and cheered Greg and the Cashmere wrestlers on with pride!  I have very fond memories of Greg and am saddened by the news of his passing.  My condolences to his family. Greg was  the best husband and father I have ever met. How can a person be that and not be beautiful through and through?
All of us in the immediate and extended family have been blessed by his life. Now he is in a better place than this Earth and we all look forward to seeing Greg again.

I met Greg some 40 years ago on a graduation trip for my sister, Lisa. My mom spotted this very handsome man sitting a few tables away from the three of us.  We had a great trip. I was most impressed with Greg's sense of adventure when he invited Lisa  and I out for a ride in his rented jeep. As we drove the streets of Mazatlan, I called out, "Off road!" , and with a sharp turn of the steering wheel ,  we were heading to the beach. I can remember  coming out of our seats, as we  sailed over the sandy dunes. We didn't get far because we got stuck in one of the dunes and had to call for help to make it back to town. 

A few months after that trip, Lisa and  Greg were married and he became a very special part of our family.  Right from the beginning, Greg always wanted to build a strong family unit. His love for his wife and children was always so very evident, but he also shared a love for his West Coast family too.   As far as I can remember,  one of Greg's  dreams was for us to all rent a cabin and share the holidays together. On several occasions, Greg  and Lisa were able to  make this wish come true with Ashley,  Ryan, and Bree , along with  their loving young families.  On one particular family trip to Lake Norman, we were able to join the Sandoval  adventure for an amazing time of fishing, boating, kayaking, and catching fireflies. It was fun to sit around the fire and share stories, laughter, and love

I am grateful for the family values Lisa and Greg have instilled in their children.  The pride  that the Sandoval family share of being together is a true testament to what the root of  life and love holds for us all.    Lisa, Ashley, Ryan, and Bree, along with their 
families, share a bond so powerful  that this foundation of love can only grow stronger.   I have no doubt that Greg's presence will forever shine in the eyes of his grandchildren and their children.  They will always know their Pop-pop.

Dear family of Greg-
So sorry to hear of Greg’s passing.  Though we drifted apart in distance over the years, we always enjoyed when we reunited on occasion.  I need to tell you a quick story about Greg.  We were friends through sports (football and wrestling) but we both decided to tryout for “Swing Choir”. We both made the group and eventually got to sing in a contest in Hawaii.  We happened to be room mates together in our hotel on the 17th floor.  Some people we met from another city were having a party one night, but we were confined to our rooms by 10 pm.  We had chaperones outside our hotel room door so we went out the room window, down one flight, and jumped via balconies over four rooms to get to the party room.  We then knocked on their window to let us in.  When their party was over about 11:30 pm, we were afraid to go back to our room for fear of getting caught, so we went out on a bar hop. (18 year olds could drink in Hawaii then). Not something I would advise some 50 years later.😂. Charlie Cruickshank

After having morning coffee with Greg for more years than we remember, it will now never be the same.  We will miss the smiles, stories, information that Greg brought to the table.  His warmth, calmness, humor is what we all looked forward to starting our day with.  He will be sorely missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow.  May he rest in peace.

Greg was our account representative for our behavioral health furniture over the years.  He was always a pleasure to work with and we are saddened to hear of his passing.  Our condolences to his family and friends.

I was a business associate of Greg’s, and had the honor of working with him for 15 years.  He was a man of integrity that employers, associates and clients alike trusted and respected.  While it was rewarding to work with Greg, it was a blessing to be his friend.
I had the pleasure of travelling extensively with Greg – all across Florida, to Bermuda and to Dubai – where Greg and his family had lived when his children were young.  Greg and Lisa had lived all over the world, and he had great stories of episodes in far flung places I had never experienced.  I’ll remember fondly him spinning stories at his favorite hotel bar in the Marina district of Dubai.
But the stories he loved to tell the most were about his family.  He talked about how his meeting Lisa changed the course of his life; their love for each other was the mortar of strong family bonds.  Greg did not have a stable father figure for much of his childhood, but he was a devoted father to his own children.  He cherished his family time, and continued to orchestrate family vacations when his children were well into adulthood.  When grandchildren came, he was as proud as could be.  
He was a true patriarch.  His loving family is his greatest legacy.   Our heart felt condolences go out to them.



Wow.....,  what sad, sad news.   Joy and I had heard Greg was having some serious issues but did not know to what extent.   When we last saw him he was his usual self......  smiling, walking tall with a friendly wave of the hand.     Lisa,.... Moon River has lost yet another member of our band of "good neighbours" and will hold you and Greg in our fondest and forever memories.      There should have been quite a few years left to Greg as he always seemed such a vigours person and each of you weighed in on the "younger side" of the age scale here at Moon River.   
Both of you were such a positive and gracious couple to all of the community.   I actually switched my brand of scotch after 40 yrs. thanks to Gregs epicurean taste.    We can only offer our sympathies now and wish you strength in the sad days that lay ahead.                           Karl & Joy Meier

Greg in center top row orange vest. Photo was taken at "Huntin' Camp" at Potato Creek near Entiat, WA.  Cousins and uncle's gathered annually for fun and camaraderie. Greg's son Ryan made this trip from Florida also this particular year shown next to Greg in grey jacket,  probably 12 or so years ago best recollection recalls. We'll miss our cousin, condolences to family and all who knew him. 

Heather and I, the Karl Family and everyone at Norix are saddened to learn of Greg’s passing. He was a very special person who contributed to all of our lives in many ways. May we always hold dear to our hearts the times we shared together and may he Rest In Peace knowing that he was loved.

We were so lucky to be neighbors with Greg and Liza, Ashley, Bree and Ryan. We watched their kids grow up and become baby sitters for ours. We raised our families together and were blessed with each others love. Greg was a strong leader with a kind word and a big smile for everyone. He always had a can do attitude. 
Words cannot express our shock and feelings of loss. But as we think of Greg we feel his presence and see his greatness in his children and his family. His spirit will live on with all who knew him! My feelings of loss will be replaced by Thanksgiving for this wonderful friendship and the power of his love in all of us.

I and others in our team, had the pleasure of working with Greg in Dubai, many years ago. Greg was great to work with and provided excellent support to us all. We remained in touch, albeit infrequently over the years through mutual friends. Sincere condolences to family and his many friends.🙏

My condolences to the Sandoval family. I never had the pleasure of meeting or knowing Greg. However, I do know Ryan and although slightly too, I can tell there’s a spark that Ryan has that must have only come from those who raised him. Dad’s are our first example of what superheroes are meant to be, but its also the special ones that leave a mark to those they never met before through his closest family and friends. Let this be an example of that he wasn’t just a hero but much more and may he rest in power.

Even thought I did not know Greg well, I learned very quickly that he was a strong man and extremely committed to his clients. He took so much pride in what he did and gained my respect very quickly. We had instant rapport since serving others was something we both had in common.
